Annotation During the study course, students acquire skills in reading and analyzing scientific literature. They learn to search, select and understand the structure of publications, as well as follow the reading and analysis process, which promotes the ability to perceive and evaluate the latest achievements in a particular field of science. Students demonstrate the acquired skills by presenting the content of publications in seminars and discussing their scientific nature..

Goals and objectives
of the course in terms
of competences and skills
The goal of the study course is to develop students' competencies in scientific literature analysis, critical evaluation and academic communication, ensuring the ability to independently search, compile and present the latest information in a specific field of science, as well as to create presentation on the obtained material. Objectives of the study course: - to promote students' ability to independently search and select appropriate scientific literature, as well as to critically evaluate sources; - to teach students to analyse and interpret the structure of publications, determine the main ideas and argumentation; - to develop students' skills in presenting scientific topics in seminars and discussing their essence, using appropriate terminology; - to train students to compile and systematize information, as well as to make a proceeding on the topic and present it.
Learning outcomes

Is able to independently search for and select scientific literature, evaluating the relevance and reliability of sources. - Assessment method: presentation and preparation of a publication. Criterion: the student provides references to the selected literature sources, correctly citing their bibliographic information.
Is able to analyse and interpret scientific publications, identifying key ideas, arguments and conclusions. - Assessment method: presentation, publication preparation, and discussion. Criterion: the presented material or submitted analysis clearly identifies the main ideas, supporting arguments, and scientific conclusions.
Is able to present and discuss publication topics to a broader audience. - Assessment method: presentation and discussion. Criterion: the seminar presentation is clear, logical, uses correct terminology, and the student can answer questions confidently.
Is able to summarize and organize acquired information, preparing a short article or presentation on the chosen topic. - Assessment method: preparation of a publication. Criterion: the article/proceedings material is well-structured, contains accurate information, is based on the literature review and presentation, and meets academic standards.
